Poor Peoples’ Valentine’s Day.

You don’t celebrate today. Today is for those little handmade gifts and home-cooked dinners. You really celebrate tomorrow. When everything is 50% off. Wilted flowers come right back up in a water and aspirin mixture. Stuffed animals don’t go bad if they sit for an extra day. Candy tastes better when it’s not full price (and if you have money, you can buy double the candy!) Novelty boxers and pajamas covered with hearts look way better when you don’t get gauged on the price. Plus, if you send Valentine’s Day cards or such, you can pick them up and use them for the next year. The sentiment of love doesn’t change.
